I know you have read about this a large number of times but still there is something missing. You can not get a backlink or a link exchange from quality and related sites by simply shooting an email to the webmaster. Do it my way to gain success. First put a link to the site you want to exchange links with on a page of your Blog or Site, the page should have some content on it and must have some traffic. The page you are putting a link on must also be easily accessible by Search Engine Bots. After you have done this, wait for a few days and let the Webmaster realize he is getting traffic from your Blog or Site. Once he sees traffic coming to his Blog or Website from a page, he will visit the page and analyze it. After a few days write to him that you want to exchange links with him and you will be happy to keep his link on your Blog or Website if he is willing to link back to your Blog or Website. Try this and get quality backlinks from related Blogs or Websites. See if you can do the three way linking. Backlink from a Blog or Website to which you have not linked from yours has more worth.
2. Set up other related Blogs and Websites
Apart from charitable me some good backlinks it also increases the number of Blogs and Websites I own and sooner or later every Website start attractive some traffic which means it pays helps me make more money. I thought the title of this was self explanatory. In case it was not let me explain. Make some Blogs and Websites with related keywords to your Blog or Website and get backlinks to your Blog or Website from them. No need to make huge Blog and Websites. Websites should be with 40 to 50 pages will be enough and once it start paying you back through ad revenues or something , you might want to increase the number of pages to earn more.
